Paul & I, Simpsonized :D

If you have a few minutes to waste, check out Simpsonize Me!

Here's what I ended up with:

I added in our dog & put Paul in some surfer-dude clothes & we headed of to the studio!

Parting is such sweet sorrow

I'll be checking the quad-core into rehab for a few days tomorrow. If you contact me and I don't get back to you straight away, it's because I'll only have access to a very ancient & slow PC during the daytime. Hopefully everything will be back to normal by the end of the week.

Constantinos

A few weeks ago we got together with some old friends for dinner. We hadn't seen them in a couple of years so, needless to say, it was great to catch up. As ever, the camera was on hand & I spent a few minutes taking some shots of their not-so-little-anymore son, Constantinos! Dems, Maria... it was great to see you both... We should be back for good next year so hope to see more of you then...! xxx

Sarah / Syriana

Didn't I say yesterday that I'd post some pics from Sarah's photo shoot? Well, it's 12.45am on Monday and here I am posting ... how's that for keeping my word?! More to come later today but right now I'm off to bed to ponder on the last couple of hours I spent watching Syriana & George Clooney's disappointing love handles!

So much blogging to do, so little time

This morning I had the best of intentions to get to the gym, do some much needed housework, post some images on the blog but did I do any of those? Nope! We're in London all day tomorrow but come Monday, I will post the rest of Sarah's images from her session which I gave a little sneak preview of a few weeks ago.

In the meantime, a couple of things to keep you occupied...

Firstly, check out the new post on Don't Box Us In. We have posted some images & a short interview with Red Leaf Studios. Richard & Amy are a very talented couple from Canada and their work is pure emotion & beauty. See for yourselves!

Secondly, I'll soon be posting a list of some of my most regularly visited blogs & I'd love to hear back from anyone reading what your regular blog-stalking habits are! More about that later but get your list compiled & ready to copy & paste soon - here's your chance to come out of the lurking cupboard!

The next big thing!

Talented & charismatic are the words that immediately spring to mind when I think of Paul Freeman. Freeman is not only an amazing singer/songwriter but he is one of the most genuine people Paul & I have had the privilege to meet and well worth taking the time out to listen to. Last year he was signed up to Arista records & is currently in the process of recording an eagerly awaited album.

Sadly for us in the UK, but luckily enough for anyone living on the east coast of America, he will be performing a few dates during the month of August. Please visit Freeman's myspace page to hear some of his work & find out when & where he's playing. Trust me ... it's more than worth the mouse click!

Need vs Want

I haven't blogged very regularly the last couple of weeks as I've been inundated with relatives visiting the UK! One of them brought along with him a little temptation in the form of a lens which I've so far only been thinking about buying. Now I've had a play with it, it's a matter of deciding whether wanting it will outweigh the fact that I don't actually need it!

Tyson kindly volunteered to help me try out the lens... actually it was more a case of bribery with some tasty pate!

Don't Box Me In

Mark Eric recently asked me to become involved in a new site called Don't Box Me In which is the sister site to Trash the Dress.

The aim of Don't Box Me In is to provide a source of inspiration for photographers as well as motivation to keep their work fresh & creative. It's a website that clients can be directed to to give them an idea of the unique images that are being taken by a variety of photographers and that can be produced for them by their own photographer when given creative control. It's also a great way to get clients to think about the kind of images they want from their special day as well as what might be involved for them during their time with the photographer.

Today we posted some stunning work by the lovely Jasmine Star & I'd like to say a huge thank you to Jasmine for contributing some of her work to Don't Box Me In!

Forward in time
